Khanewal - In a landmark event under the government of Punjab’s flagship “Dhee Rani Program,” a grand mass wedding ceremony was held at Khanewal Public School, celebrating the union of 58 deserving couples from Khanewal and Vehari districts.

Khanewal - In a landmark event under the government of Punjab’s flagship “Dhee Rani Program,” a grand mass wedding ceremony was held at Khanewal Public School, celebrating the union of 58 deserving couples from Khanewal and Vehari districts. The event, held with traditional grace and dignity, was graced by Provincial Minister for Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Mal, Suhail Shoukat Butt, who served as the chief guest. He was joined by Members of the Provincial Assembly including Rana Saleem Hanif, Barrister Usama Fazal, Chaudhry Zia-ur-Rehman, and Aamir Hayat Harraj.

Deputy Commissioner Dr Salma Suleman, District Police Officer Ismail Kharrak, and other senior officials were also in attendance to witness the heartwarming occasion. A traditional jhoomar dance marked the opening of the event, welcoming the newlywed couples and dignitaries. In his address, Minister Suhail Shoukat Butt conveyed congratulatory messages from Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif and presented monetary gifts of PKR 100,000 to each couple, distributed via ATM cards.
