Vadodara: The Quality Circle Forum of India ( QCFI ), Vadodara Chapter, hosted its second Safety Convention at Hotel Surya Palace in the city on Saturday. Seventeen industries and 22 safety teams, comprising over 100 participants, took part in the convention, showcasing the safety practices implemented within their organizations. QCFI national president Avinash Mishra, vice-president GP Singh, director Rituraj Mehta, and executive director DK Srivastava attended the event.
"Quality and safety should go hand in hand in every company, as both are critical for safeguarding people and boosting productivity. They also contribute significantly to cost efficiency," Mishra said during his address. During the convention, Singh introduced the concept of the Safety Circle as an effective tool for fostering a strong safety culture within organisations.
Mehta spoke about the challenges of integrating safety into a multi-level organisational culture. Prabha Vyas, chairperson of the QCFI Vadodara Chapter, felicitated the dignitaries and presented trophies to all participating teams..
