Qatar tribune Tribune News Network Doha Qatar Cancer Society (QCS) recently organised a special visit to Sidra Medicine, bringing joy and emotional support to children living with cancer as part of its ongoing ‘Patient Visits’ programme. The visit was marked by moments of warmth and encouragement, as members of the QCS team distributed thoughtful gifts to young patients. Zakaria Karazoun, the head of the Community Partnerships Unit at QCS, stated: “This initiative is more than just a visit; it is a heartfelt message of love and hope to children and their families, letting them know they are not alone in this fight.
Psychological support plays a crucial role in the healing process, and we believe in the power of community partnerships to make that possible. We deeply appreciate Snoonu’s role in supporting this noble cause with such warmth and dedication.” He further emphasised the transformative impact of such initiatives in creating a more positive and supportive healing environment—particularly in institutions that treat complex and critical cases.
