Quinon Judkins, the running back out of Ohio State, we knew that he and Trayvon would both go. I gotta say, you mentioned Football 301. I will shamelessly promote inside coverage.
C Rob told us about a month ago that Jenkins had helped himself and that the league was falling in love with him, so he becomes the next running back off the board. gentlemen, we like this. Like how, how are we feeling? They, I mean, they have two running backs on the roster, Jerome Ford and Pierre Strong.
And, and I, as much as I like Jerome Ford coming out of Cincinnati, it's like we know what Jerome Ford is. The Jerome Ford does not preclude you from adding quit on Jenkins. Going into the year when he was coming off of Ole Miss, I had Jenkins just slightly ahead of Genty.
That's how high was off his Ole Miss film. He is now part of a pairing of that talented Ohio State team with Henderson. They were the perfect Thunder and lightning, classic pairing.
He is the in-between tackle runner. He is, he can get from 1st gear to 3rd, 4th gear, does not have 5th gear, and so he's a singles and doubles hitter. But guess what? I, I think he could be really good as a singles and doubles hitter.
He's a guy that gets on base. He does the little things well as well, you know, some pass protection stuff he has to improve upon, but a big runner doesn't every like most come in. It's one guy like that doesn't, but that's the thing.
It's like Henderson and why I thought I had Junkins ahead of Henderson is this is an early down runner. These guys are the guys that can get the touches. They can do short yards, and then you can teach them the other things.
So I really like this pick. They needed a back. He's a good back.
What's the fantasy value on this? To you, oh, this is great. I mean, look, you're, you're the starting running back for the Cleveland Browns. There is, you know, there maybe a little bit of a lower ceiling because how many touchdowns are around here, but like Nate said, this is a volume sponge back.
Like he's a grinder, he's an early down banger, and they did not have that guy. Obviously they had it for a long time in Knick Chubb that and some they had in in Nick Chubb, but Chubb is is coming off another injury. He's not currently on the roster, so.
Jerome Ford's a guy who's just gonna be a little splash player every now and again, but he can absorb a lot of work. And look, this is a like talking about innings eater. This is an offense that needs to eat some innings because they've got, you know, Joe Flacco behind center.
So, um, I'm really excited about Quinhaw Judkins in fantasy. Like the, the offensive line might have issues for the future, but right now they still have a good starting. Interior.
So this is a really good landing spot for Quin John Judkins from a system fit perspective and the amount of touches he's about to get right now. It's kind of like a discount version of Nick Chubb. He really is, yeah, he's, he, he, they have a similar stylistic run, uh, running style, but he's not as explosive as Nick.
