Raid 2 Advance Bookings: Ajay Devgn-Riteish Deshmukh Starrer Earns Rs 1 Crore On Its First Day

Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn is all set to return to the big screens as the courageous IRS officer Amay Patnaik in his upcoming film Raid 2. This time locking horns with Riteish Deshmukh’s corrupt, powerful and shady politician Dada Bhai. Set to release on May 1, the film’s advance bookings have opened on a positive note.

If media reports are to go by, it might just be on its way to become one of the few box-office hits of 2025. With the blocked booked seats added, the price has increased to Rs 2.32 crores. Given the love and success the first installment of the film garnered, the audience seemed intrigued, looking forward to Amay Patnaik successfully carrying out his 75th raid, in the upcoming film.

Set to release on May 1, 2025, the film stars Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Vaani Kapoor, Rajat Kapoor, Supriya Pathak, Amit Sial, and Yashpal Sharma. Actor Saurabh Shukla will be seen reprising his role as Tauji.

In the upcoming film, Devgn’s character will be seen taking on an income tax raid worth Rs 4,200 crores.
