Rajkummar Rao gave a sneak peek into his shopping spree with the upcoming film Bhool Chuk Maaf co-star Wamiqa Gabbi. Bollywood actors Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi are extremely busy promoting their upcoming movie Bhool Chuk Maafk. FYI: The romantic drama is set to release in theatres on May 9.
Ahead of that, the lead duo embarked on a journey to the city of Lucknow, where they were seen shopping, relishing delicious chaat, and even visiting an iconic temple over there. Recently, Rajkummar Rao reposted a video dropped by the official Instagram handle of Bhool Chuk Maaf’s production house, Maddock Films. In the clip, the actor was seen being seated inside a shop alongside Wamiqa Gavvi while choosing an exquisite Lucknowi saree for her.
Atop the video, the caption talked about their on-screen characters in the upcoming movie and mentioned, “Which Chikankari suit should Ranjan (played by Rao) gift to Titli (played by Gabbi)? Light Pink, Dark Pink." For the promotional spree in Lucknow, Rajkummar Rao sported a pink-hued shirt teamed with a pair of white cargo pants and looked handsome. On the other hand, Wamiqa Gabbi stunned in a floral-printed Anarkali suit.
She completed her look with a messy braid hairdo alongside minimal jewellery and glam makeup. In one of the clips shared by the official Instagram handle of Maddock Films, the actors duo was seen performing a dance with little school kids while promoting their upcoming movie. Atop one video, the caption read, “At this moment, Koi Naa hai inse pyaara!" while another one mentioned, “The moment where – humara dil dekhte hi atak gaya!" Rao and Gabbi even performed on one of the latest songs from their romantic drama Bhool Chuk Maaf, Chor Bazari Phir Se, a reimagined version of Chor Bazari from the 2009 movie Love Aaj Kal, starring Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone.
The video was captioned as “Ranjan and Titli making Lucknow vibe on #ChorBazariPhirSe." Next, we spotted the duo even immersing themselves in the local culture of Lucknow. In one of the videos, they were seen enjoying the deletable chaat in Lucknow.
Following this, they even visited Mari Mata Mandir. Sharing glimpses from the same on the Instagram stories, the caption read, “Ab bas Mata Rani inki sunn le aur inki atki hui shaadi karwa de. A Witness their story on 9th May," giving a hint to the intriguing plotline of the movie.
