Ramli Ngah to be next Penang Governor

GEORGE TOWN: Former Perak Mentri Besar Tan Sri Ramli Ngah Talib is believed to be the next Penang governor. The 84-year-old is expected to receive the appointment letter from His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, in a ceremony at Istana Negara. Before being appointed Dewan Rakyat Speaker from 2004 to 2008, Ramli was the Deputy Transport Minister from 2000 to 2004.
