Rani Mukerji’s ‘Mardaani 3’ gets release date, actor returns as Shivani Shivaji Roy

Rani Mukerji -starrer Mardaani 3 will release in cinemas on February 27, 2026, ahead of Holi, producers Yash Raj Films announced on Monday (April 21). Mukerji, star of Mardaani (2014) and Mardaani 2 (2019), is set to return as driven supercop Shivani Shivaji Roy, embarking on a new fight for justice. Mardaani 3 is being directed by Abhiraj Minawala.

He is known for assisting on YRF films such as Band Baaja Baaraat, Gunday, Sultan, Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Tiger 3. Aayush Gupta ( The Railway Men ) has penned the script. Rani Mukerji was last seen in the legal drama Mrs.
