A modern reimagining of the classic BBC crime-drama Bergerac will start airing soon, with Damien Molony starring as the famous detective.

A second series of the modern reimagining of the classic BBC crime drama Bergerac has been confirmed. Set in Jersey, the original series starred John Nettles as Detective Sergeant Jim Bergerac and ran for 10 years from 1981 to 1991. The series, which was released in February on the U&Drama channel and stars Damien Molony, follows Bergerac returning to work after a period of compassionate leave following the death of his wife.
