Amorim may be tempted to rotate his squad, especially with such a huge game to come at Old Trafford on Thursday night.Andre Onana has been left out of the United squad and won’t even be on the bench at St. James’ Park.

Amass is now in line to start a first Premier League game as part of Amorim’s changes.Amass would likely come in for Patrick Dorgu as United’s left wing back, allowing the Dane to rest up ahead of facing Lyon on Thursday.Dorgu has played a key role since joining from Lecce in January, and Amorim will want him fresh against Lyon.
Amass has shown potential in the United ranks since arriving from Watford back in 2023 and could now come up against in-form Newcastle winger Jacob Murphy.The teenager attracted loan interest in January, but United chose to keep Amass around Amorim’s first team.More to follow.
