The Pittsburgh Steelers are adding a veteran presence at WR to their offense — signing Super Bowl LVI champion Robert Woods to a one-year deal.

The Steelers have just brought in a veteran presence to their wide receiver room — none other than 33-year-old WR Robert Woods.Woods is coming to Pittsburgh on a one-year, $2 million deal and will be exactly what the Steelers lacked in 2024 — a veteran mind to help guide the young receiving corps.Woods was drafted in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft by the Bills.

He would spend the first four years of his career in Buffalo but found the most success during his time with the Rams from 2017 to 2021, where he had back-to-back 1,000-yard receiving seasons in 2018 and 2019.The former Rams receiver would tear his ACL in November of 2021 and would spend the rest of the season on IR — where his teammates would help propel him to the title of Super Bowl LVI champion when the Rams defeated the Bengals 23-20.Woods would spend one season with the Titans and two seasons with the Texans following the unfortunate injury and has never truly made the same impact since his days as a Ram.

At worst, Woods is a great depth addition for an offense sorely needing veteran players, and at best he could rekindle his career from the slot.Steelers signing WR Robert Woods to one-year, $2M deal. (via @Rapsheet) pic.
