Miller's Motorcycle Museum in New Milton will host Rickman Metisse Day on Sunday, May 11, between 10am and 3pm. The event will be held close to the former home of the Rickman factory in New Milton. This is an opportunity for anyone who has owned or admired one of the Rickman brothers' motorcycles to see a large selection of off-road and road-going Rickman bikes.
Owners of these machines will be displaying them and some will take part in the arena parade lap, including Sammy Miller himself. There is also a chance to see some rare Rickman cars and BMXs. The event will be attended by a number of special guests, including Don Rickman.
Free entry and parking are available, with food outlets on site. There will be a raffle and an auction during the day with a supporting donation made to Oakhaven Cancer Hospice in Lymington from the day. A spokesperson for the event said: "An established, annual event, a must for anyone who has ever owned or admired one of their iconic bikes.
"The largest selection of off-road and road-going Rickman bikes to be gathered at one venue this year.".
