Uniontown Ruth Elizabeth Carter, 77, of Uniontown, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2025, in the Uniontown Hospital. She was born August 14, 1947, in Uniontown, to the late Paul and Rose Brown Carter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Roberta Carter; siblings, Shirly, Paul Jr.
, Thomas, Cynthia, Marcella, and Carol. She is survived by siblings, Richard (Yvonne) Carter, James Carter, Sr., Janet (Alphonzo) Wallace, Phyllis (Robert) Carter, and Anthony Carter; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Ruth enjoyed bingo and was often lucky; she also enjoyed reading, romance novels, cooking, baking, and playing cards. Friends will be received from 11 a.m.
until the 1 p.m. hour of service Tuesday, April 22, in the LANTZ FUNERAL HOME, INC.
