"Thankful for it all!" Henigan said in a post to his account on X (formerly known as Twitter). Four other former Raiders have been selected in the last five drafts between Earnest Brown IV (2021), Drew Sanders (2023), Ja'Tavion Sanders (2024) and Billy Bowman Jr. (2025). The standout quarterback earned his opportunity following a standout four-year career at Memphis.

Henigan immediately won the Tigers' starting job as a freshman, becoming the first true freshman to start a season opener in program history, and took off from there in making 49 career starts. He finished as the program's all-time leader in passing yards (14,286) and touchdowns (104). Henigan led Memphis to wins in all three bowl games it played during his tenure, including a 42-37 victory over West Virginia at the Frisco Bowl to cap off his career close to home .

Henigan, the son of Ryan head coach Dave Henigan, helped lead the program to plenty of success during his high school career as well. Seth Henigan threw for 7,234 yards and 79 touchdowns across his three-year high school career, helping the Raiders post a 44-2 record from 2018-20. He was named Offensive MVP of the 2020 5A Division I state championship game, which Ryan won 59-14 over Cedar Park for its third state title and first since going back-to-back in 2001 and 2002.

Henigan now has a chance to potentially build on those exploits at the professional level. Success! An email has been sent to with a link to confirm list signup. Error! There was an error processing your request.
