The film we are talking about is none other than Shahrukh Khan’s Jawan. As per reports, Samantha almost made her Bollywood debut in Jawan alongside King Khan. She was offered the role of Narmada Rai Rathore, Force One’s Head and Azad Rathore’s wife.
However, Samantha reportedly said no to the offer in 2019 due to personal reasons. Later, the role in Jawan was eventually offered to Nayanthara who accepted the role and marked her Bollywood debut with blockbuster action-thriller. Jawan is an action thriller film starring an impressive cast including Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, Atlee Kumar, Sanya Malhotra, Vijay Sethupathi and others.
The story revolves around a man who fights against the wrongs in society in his own way, keeping the promise he made years ago. The Atlee Kumar directed film Jawan became a blockbuster, set out to earn around Rs 1,148 crore at the box office as per reports. The film became the highest grossing film of 2023 and became the highest grossing Hindi film of all time after Aamir Khan’s Dangal.
Citadel: Honey Bunny actress has previously worked with Jawan’s director Atlee in two of the projects that proved to be commercially successful. The two films were Theri and Mersal featuring Vijay. Samantha has made her Hindi Language debut with a popular Amazon Prime series named The Family Man opposite Manoj Bajpayee.
In the series, Samantha was caught in an action avatar, grabbing the attention of audiences through her crazy stunt scenes. Samantha Ruth Prabhu is yet to make her Bollywood debut. However, the actress had worked with Hindi several stars.
