Slim phones are poised for a comeback, with the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge leading the trend. Initially teased at the Galaxy Unpacked event in January, its launch was expected in mid-April but is now rumoured to take place on May 13 in South Korea during a low-key event. Pre-orders are set to run from May 14 to May 20, with the first sale scheduled for May 23 in South Korea and China.

However, the phone’s slimness may come with trade-offs, particularly in battery life. Rumours point to a 4,000mAh battery, which might struggle under heavy usage typical of high-end smartphones.
