KUALA LUMPUR: Samsung unveiled its refreshed lineup of Bespoke AI smart home appliances today (April 17) at a Malaysian launch event. The refreshed lineup includes the 2025-edition for the company's Bespoke AI Side-by-Side Refrigerator, which consists of a selection of seven models. At the top of the lineup are the models with a 9in screen (priced at RM10,599 with a 594L capacity) and 21.

New with this year's release is the ability to automatically open the doors on the fridge, either with a gentle tap on the handle or through a voice command.

Like the previous year's models, they are also equipped with Bixby for voice commands along with support for Multi-Device Experience (MDE), which allows users to answer calls, receive calls, track food expiry dates, and get recipe suggestions. Also unveiled was the refreshed Bespoke AI Top-Load Washer lineup, consisting of four new models starting from RM2,119. The washing machines feature an AI wash mode which detects the weight of the load and fabric type to automatically adjust the wash for up to 20% better fabric care and washing up to 2.

They also feature artificial intelligence-powered vibration reduction technology (VRT), which sends information on the environment, such as the type of floor it is on, to Samsung's servers in order to tailor the best wash setting to reduce noise for that space.

The company's Bespoke AI Jet Ultra cordless stick vacuum cleaner also saw a refresh this year, with two models: the Lite (RM4,199) and Ultra (RM4,499). The Ultra features a stronger 400W suction power while the Lite sits at 280W. Both models can automatically adapt to the type of floor using AI, and will even provide a suction boost when vacuuming tight corners.

They also provide alerts for phone calls and messages while a user is cleaning. The daily and monthly energy use of all the refreshed appliances can also be monitored and tracked via SmartThings Energy, which is accessible via the fridge screen or mobile app. SmartThings Energy can further provide an estimate of the energy consumption of compatible appliances and how much cost will be incurred on a user's energy bill, and set specific devices to energy saver mode.
