Now, the company is reportedly offering the Android 15-based One UI 7 update for the Galaxy S23, the S23 Plus and Galaxy S23 Ultra models. As per reports, the update is coming to users in India and certain global markets. The over-the-air (OTA) software update includes the April 2025 security patch.
The One UI 7 update is likely to be a handful with its 5GB download size for the Galaxy S23 version. As you might know, the Galaxy S23 was launched with the Android 13 version and promised at least 5 years of Android OS upgrades. One UI 7.0 is a significant software update that brings a major UI redesign, including separate pages for notifications, revamped buttons, icons, widgets and the Quick Panel that has more customisation options. The new software also let users to change icon sizes, widget transparency and customise the lock screen clock alongside other widget options.
