Vadodara: State home minister Harsh Sanghvi on Friday said that the Vishwamitri River revival project is progressing well and will be completed on time. He added that significant work is also underway outside the city limits. During his visit to Vadodara, Sanghvi—who also serves as the guardian minister for Vadodara district—held a review meeting on the project.
He praised the local administration for its efforts and said that work was moving ahead at a brisk pace. Sanghvi mentioned that the project aims to complete one percent of the total work each day, and so far, over 45% of the work has been completed in just 45 days. He also noted that 32% of the work outside the city, handled by the irrigation department, has already been completed.
The department is prepared to ramp up the pace in the coming days to ensure the project stays on track..
