Severe storms and flooding will be possible through Wednesday night.

There's an enhanced risk for severe storms late Monday afternoon and evening across portions of western Oklahoma. A slight risk covers most of the state for additional storms overnight through Tuesday morning. Storms will fire near the dryline, late Monday afternoon, likely in southwestern Oklahoma.

Very large hail, damaging straight-line winds in excess of 80 mph, isolated tornadoes and flash flooding are the main threats. Latest data suggests a storm complex will move across southern Oklahoma, a place hit hard by flooding last weekend. A FLOOD WATCH is in effect this evening through Wednesday.

There's a slight risk for severe storms all day Tuesday. Large hail, damaging winds, flooding and isolated tornadoes are possible, with the best chance along and ahead of wherever the cold front stalls out in the afternoon. The severe risk goes down Wednesday, while the flooding risk increases.

Enjoy dry weather Thursday. Isolated storm chances return Friday with a better chance on Saturday..
