To the winners go — plenty of napkins — as Shorty’s Southside repeated as the City of Amsterdam Tourism, Marketing and Recreation Wing Fest Best Wings in the City title, and Lyon Street Bar & Grill was on fire for the second year in a row, claiming the Hottest Wing in the City title. More than 1,500 votes were cast electronically for the annual chicken wing festival in the Rug City. Shorty’s Southside repeated with its C&J wing, edging out newcomer Schwalbacher Brewing’s entry, spicy maple-glazed wings.
