KUALA LUMPUR: Singer and composer Cat Farish is thankful to have realised his wife Shikin Maembong's dream of owning her own shop.Cat said in a Harian Metro report today that he had planned to surprise his wife who has been managing a roadside food business for sometime."I have been working hard to get a shop unit in Taman Melawati but there were not many suitable locations with affordable rent back then.
"I had to carefully manage my financial resources for five months before getting hold of the new shop unit."It was not easy because it involved deposit payments, staff recruitment and product marketing," he said, adding that he also used savings from his singing career to acquire it."Shikin and I are now inviting parties interested in sponsoring the interior decoration of the new shop, and if all goes well it will be opened early next month.
