LAHORE - The 6th Slice Mango Juice Cup 3x3 Basketball Tournament kicked off at the International Abdul Nasir Basketball Court, Aram Bagh, Karachi. The event is being organised under the banner of Firdous Ittehad, with permission from the Karachi Basketball Association (KBBA) and sponsorship from Pakola Beverage Company. The inauguration was carried out by Mir Mubashir Ali, Manufacturing Head of Pakola, and Technical Manager Haseeb Ahmed.
On this occasion, KBBA President Ghulam Abbas Jamal Chaudhry (Adv), MCB VP Muhammad Haider Khan, Director Sports Commissioner Karachi Ghulam Muhammad Khan, Rotarian Sheikh Aqeel Ahmed, and other dignitaries were also present. On the first day of the tournament, six matches were decided. Javed Memon Club defeated Usman Club 13-9, Aram Bagh Club beat Javed Memon Club 18-14, Aram Bagh Club overwhelmed Usman Club 21-8, Soul Tigers Club defeated Usman Club 13-8, Soul Tigers Club overcame Javed Memon Club 12-9 and Soul Tigers Club narrowly edged Aram Bagh Club 12-11.
