Adult Practical Nursing students at Capital Region BOCES recently practiced their tracheostomy suctioning care under the guidance during a lesson at the Adult Health Careers Center at the Career and Technical Education Center. The skill is one of many students learn during 1,100 hours of classroom and clinical study and practice in the full-time Adult Practical Nursing program offered by Capital Region BOCES. The program prepares students to take the National Council Licensure Examination and apply to become a New York state licensed practical nurse.
