SNAPSHOT: ‘Braking’ into a new career

Capital Region BOCES junior Max Malaquias prepares to change the brakes and rotors on a 2021 Kia Telluride recently in the Career and Technical Education (CTE) Center – Automotive Trade labs. Malaquias, who attends the program from the Cohoes City School District, was working with classmate Joseph Hargraves to change all of the brakes and rotors on the vehicle. Malaquias is among more than 100 students who chose CTE to learn the skills necessary to launch careers in the automotive repair industry.
