Numerous students and a local employers came together at a recent event seeking to solve the labor shortage in the heating and cooling industry while providing high school and adult school students with a hot future in a cool industry. More than a dozen students in the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC/R) program at Capital Region BOCES were joined by another 12- to 20-counterparts in the adult education version of that program in attending the job fair specific to the industry at the Career and Technical Education Center.
