'Sort out Branksome Rec, it's a disgrace'

It's been a swamp for years and at present it's a danger to the public and pets due to the ground in places being worse than a swamp. Why can't the council sort it? Let me suggest what can easily be done. There is a Wessex Water sewage pumping station there adjacent to Recreation Road.

Build a straightforward waste water chamber with a sump pump pumping straight into the pumping station. Problem solved. The council is always harping on why they increase council tax by providing and maintains open spaces etc.



Well they certainly have not addressed the swamp problem on the rec that's for sure. BCP get some of our council tax spent on something worthwhile for all residents and visitors alike. It's a disgrace.
