NEW DELHI: The Nifty IT index closed on a positive note on Tuesday. Shares of LTIMindtree Ltd.(up 2.
49 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 2.32 per cent), Persistent Systems Ltd.
(up 2.22 per cent), Coforge Ltd.(up 1.
46 per cent) and HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 1.28 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, L&T Technology Services Ltd.(down 0.01 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty IT index closed 1.23 per cent up at 35920.4.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 7.46 points at 24335.95, while the BSE Sensex stood up 70.
01 points at 80288.38. Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 19 ended in the green, while 31 closed in the red.
