1 2 Prayagraj: This year's results of class 10 and 12 of the UP Secondary Education Board has brought smiles to the faces of students from the smaller towns of the state. Whether it was class 10 or 12, the meritorious students from smaller towns like Jalaun, Etawah, Barabanki, Moradabad, Sitapur, Amroha, and Gazipur proved their mettle by winning the race and bagging top positions in the overall merit list of both the 10 and 12 Board exams. The results were announced on Friday.
In the results of class 10, Yash Pratap Singh of LT Smt RKDIC, Umari, Jalaun topped the High School exam by scoring 97.83% of marks. At the third place with 97.
50%, Ritu Garg of Moradabad, Arpit Verma of Sitapur, and Simran Gupta of Jalaun made their respective districts proud. At the fourth place with 97.33%, six students shared the position, including Anchal Verma of Sitapur, Akriti Patel of Hardoi, Aastha Patel of Unnao, Anshi Kashyap of Etawah, Asna Fatima Zaidi of Barabanki, and Shreya Singh of Prayagraj.
The local girl is from a school of SP International College, Sikaro Koraon. Likewise, in class 12, Mahak Jaiswal of Prayagraj topped the state with 97.20% of marks.
Jaiswal is a student of Baccha Ram Yadav Inter College Bhulai Ka Pura, Phoolpur Prayagraj. The second position is shared by four students, including Sakshi of Amroha, Adarsh Yadav of Sultanpur, Shivani Singh of Prayagraj, and Anushka Singh of Kaushambi. They all scored 96.
80% of marks.At the third place with 96.40% marks, Mohini of Etawah secured the third place in the overall top 10 merit list.
At the fourth place is Shipra from Prayagraj with 96.20% marks. She is also from SP International College, Sikaro, Koraon.
Interestingly, this year 55 students are in the top 10 positions in class 10 board results. In comparison, last year, there were 159 students. Likewise, there were a whopping number of 408 students in the list of top 10 position holders in the class 12 board exam.
However, this number has drastically come down as the number of students among the top 10 positions is just 30..
