If anybody knows what it takes to be successful in the WNBA, it’s the legend Sue Bird, who recently made an appearance Flau'jae Johnson's "Best of Both Worlds" podcast. During the appearance, the star athlete asked Bird about the natural ups and downs that come with being a rookie, to which she shared some helpful advice: "In college, you don't lose a lot..

. so you've kind of got to adjust to the losing, if I'm being honest," Bird explained. "This is so cliché, don't get too high with the highs, too low with the lows, all that stuff," she continued.

"But it's really true when it comes to the losing, because you're going to lose more than you ever have in your life. This is just a part of it," she added. Seems like helpful advice that rookies should definitely heed.
