SUISUN CITY — Police continue to investigate a Friday afternoon shooting, which they say was an isolated incident.

the Suisun City Police Department received a report of a man who had been shot in a field near the 90 block of Cordelia Street. Due to the location’s proximity to a neighboring jurisdiction, officers from both the Suisun City and Fairfield police departments responded. There, officers located an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.



The victim was treated on scene and transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the Suisun City police said. Officers conducted a thorough search of the surrounding area for possible suspects. No arrests had been made as of Tuesday afternoon.

Based on the preliminary investigation, police say there is no known threat to the public. The Police Department is working with the private property owner to ensure the area is cleaned and secured.
