Indian cricketer KL Rahul and Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty have bought a land parcel in Thane West, Maharashtra, for ₹9.85 crore. The land is located in Owale, near the well-known Ghodbunder Road.
The purchase was officially registered in March 2025, according to documents reviewed by property platform Square Yards on the Inspector General of Registration (IGR) Maharashtra website. The duo has acquired 7 acres of undivided land, which is part of a larger land parcel spread across 30 acres and 17 guntha. In total, the purchased area measures around 28,328 square meters or about 33,880 square yards.
They paid Rs 68.96 lakh in stamp duty and Rs 30,000 in registration charges to complete the transaction. Owale is a fast-growing area in Thane West.
It lies between Anand Nagar and Kasarvadavali and is located along Ghodbunder Road. This road is one of the most important routes in Thane, linking it to both the Eastern and Western Express Highways. The location offers great connectivity to business areas in Thane, Mumbai, and the western suburbs, making it a prime spot for investment.
KL Rahul is one of India’s top cricketers, known for his stylish batting and consistent performance in all formats of the game.
