SUPP Kuching Youth chief Nicholas Wung announced that the celebration will take place at the parking bays of the branch office.“On June 28, a carnival will be held from 3pm to 9pm, while the flag-raising ceremony and main commemorative event will take place on June 29,” he said.Wung added that the events are a tribute to the dedication of party members over the decades in upholding the party’s founding mission of ‘serving the people’, and to show appreciation for those who have contributed to the branch’s development.

The public is invited to join the celebration to learn about the party’s history and mission, and to commemorate this important milestone.“During the carnival, the branch will also carry out fundraising activities to support operational needs and preparations for the upcoming Sarawak election.“We call upon all members and supporters to continue contributing toward the advancement of the Padungan constituency, especially in the areas of welfare and community initiatives,” the statement added.

SUPP Kuching reaffirmed its longstanding role as an advocate for equality, freedom and a brighter future for Sarawak since its founding on June 29, 1959.It pledged to remain steadfast in its service to the people, strengthening unity and tackling future challenges as a collective.“This carnival is not only a celebration of our 66-year journey but also a look toward the future.
