SUPP man reaffirms commitment to Bawang Assan’s development, unity

Lau says cooperation and unity are key to driving progress in the constituency.SIBU (April 26): Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) Bawang Assan Councillor Kevin Lau has pledged to continue working closely with the people and community leaders to ensure the ongoing development of Bawang Assan.Speaking at the Randau Pemansang programme at Rumah Salim Unang in Rassau yesterday, he said cooperation and unity are key to driving progress in the constituency.

“As SUPP chairman, I will continue to work with the community and maintain a close rapport with the people. It is through this unity that we can continue to develop Bawang Assan,” he said.He added that the same spirit of unity has strengthened the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) government in pursuing Sarawak’s development.



“Our GPS leaders have never wavered in their fight for Sarawak rights under the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63). Not only are we able to assist our people, but we are also developing talents among them,” he added.Lau stressed that programmes like Randau Pemansang are meaningful, as they allow longhouse residents to access accurate information while strengthening bonds within the community.
