The Parkinson’s Disease Support Group April meeting at the McGee Center celebrated spring with decorations and activities to highlight the season. Attendees also shared information about recent research into the causes and treatments of Parkinson’s disease. One item of interest to both patients and their caregivers pertained to injectable medications for people with advanced Parkinson’s disease.
Such treatment could be especially helpful for patients whose oral medications are not as effective as they once were in treating symptoms.
