T. Vijayakumar assumes office as City Engineer of Coimbatore Corporation

After a vacancy of seven months, T. Vijayakumar has taken charge as the City Engineer of Coimbatore Corporation. The post had remained unfilled since September last year, when Mr.

Anbazhagan, who held the position, was transferred to Chennai Corporation. Since then, Executive Engineer G. Murugesan was handling the city engineer’s responsibilities as an additional charge.



Mr. Murugesan has now been promoted as Superintending Engineer and posted to Erode Corporation. Mr.

Vijayakumar, who served as Superintending Engineer in Erode, has been promoted and posted to Coimbatore as City Engineer. He assumed office recently. A replacement for Mr.
