Marc ter Stegen is back for the Copa del Rey final. After several weeks of training with his teammates, the German goalkeeper was medically cleared on Friday and has been included in the 22-man squad for the Clásico against Real Madrid. Ter Stegen has not played since September 22, when he suffered a ruptured patellar tendon in his right knee during a match against Villarreal.
Given his lack of match fitness, he is expected to start on the bench at La Cartuja. Ter Stegen’s return is a major boost for Barça ahead of the Copa del Rey final.
