The 1% Club viewers were divided over the ITV game show, which saw a contestant walk away with a huge £96,000 jackpot after a tricky question.

The exclusive 1% Club of a popular game show has welcomed a new member, following a tense face-off that left viewers split over the perceived difficulty of the question. The ITV game show's audience was ecstatic as a participant walked away with a staggering £96,000 jackpot tonight. Comedian Lee Mack returned to host last night's episode, which in the previous year had become the UK's most-watched game show.

Mack posed questions to the 100 contestants, challenging them to solve a series of progressively harder logic problems. If any contestant could answer a question that only 1% of the population could solve correctly, they would walk away with a substantial jackpot. Saturday's tricky question asked the contestants: "I keep forgetting my four-digit PIN number.

I know each digit is higher than the previous digit but I need this diagram to remember it. "What is my four-digit PIN number?" The diagram displayed a sequence of letters in what seemed to be a random order, with many viewers arguing it was one of the easier questions of the evening, reports Chronicle Live . Contestant Dominic answered the question correctly, responding 1489.

He was the sole player to get it right, and thus he departed with £96,000. Viewers like Alan commented: "That one per cent question was just a word search puzzle, found earlier questions much harder". Natalie chimed in: "Yeah that was a question of speed more than anything".

Viewers participating from home also tasted success, with many sharing their victories on their mobile devices via the official 1% Club account. One fan, Catherine, highlighted the diverse range of viewers, stating: "I couldn't even understand the question, but my 9-year-old daughter got it in 30 seconds!".
