Just because every selection has been made at the 2025 NFL Draft has been made doesn't mean teams are done adding talent. Each year, undrafted free agents work through the disappointment of not hearing their names called and onto NFL rosters. After an unpredictable draft, there's a bevy of talent ready to thrive in the right environment.
Stars and role players from the FBS to Canada's U Sports will begin their journey to the NFL on a rocky road. They'll have to prove themselves through offseason practices and preseason games to earn a spot on final 53-man rosters. It's incredibly difficult to figure out who'll rise from this crop of unwanteds and into stardom.
But if we're laying bets, these are the 11 players most likely to earn priority training camp invitations this offseason. 1. WR Xavier Restrepo, Miami Restrepo was No.
1 overall pick Cameron Ward's huckleberry, leading the ACC with 1,127 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns in 2024. But he's undersized at 5-foot-10 and relies on a physical style that mitigates his 4.85-second 40 speed.
That's a tough skillset to translate to the NFL, but his sure hands and elite effort should make him a priority free agent and potential preseason star. 2. CB Cobee Bryant, Kansas Bryant had 13 career interceptions as a Jayhawk and 22 passes defensed, but was unable to stake his claim as a draftworthy cornerback in 2025.
He's a skinny 6-feet and explosive with a nose for the ball. He's also liable to grab and hang on for dear life when beat, leading to frustrating penalties. 3.
C Seth McLaughlin, Ohio State McLaughlin only spent one season as the Buckeyes' starting center, but it ended as well as any season could have. The 2024 national champion ranked 147th on the consensus big board thanks to solid athleticism and strength but was unable to separate himself among a dense class of mid-tier interior linemen. 4.
EDGE Jared Ivey, Mississippi Ivey had 12.5 sacks the last two seasons at Ole Miss . At 6-foot-6 and 274 pounds he looks the part of an NFL defensive end.
A high center of gravity and modest athleticism, however, led him to go undrafted. 5. G Joe Huber, Wisconsin Huber is a Wisconsin interior lineman, which means he's a beef-monster who relishes the opportunity to clear rushing lanes.
6. OT Logan Brown, Kansas At 6-foot-6 and 311 pounds, Brown looks the part of an NFL right tackle. But he only had one season as a starter and was dismissed by Wisconsin in a six-year college career, planting enough red flags for NFL teams to stay away at the draft.
7. WR Nick Nash, San Jose State Nash converted from quarterback to wideout, then led the Mountain West in catches, receiving yards and touchdowns in 2024 -- his sixth collegiate season. At 6-foot-3 and 203 pounds he has good size but is untested against elite competition and remains raw as a route runner.
8. TE Jake Briningstool, Clemson Briningstool is light for a tight end and may never be a full-time in-line player. With 4.
75-second 40 speed he's athletic for the position but not fast or elusive enough to be a constant at wideout. 9. CB Tommi Hill, Nebraska Hill is a 6-foot-1 corner whose 2024 was polarizing thanks to a foot injury.
He had four interceptions and nine passes defensed in 2023, but last year's uneven tape led him to go undrafted this spring. 10. OT Xavier Truss, Georgia Truss has played both tackle and guard against elite defenses.
The big Rhode Islander is a massive corner presence who could have an impact inside, but he's inconsistent and occasionally plays too upright for his frame, giving up leverage in the process. 11. WR Isaiah Bond, Texas Bond's stock tumbled throughout the predraft process.
Most troubling, he turned himself in for a sexual assault warrant earlier in the month. He maintains his innocence and filed a federal complaint in the U.S.
District Court of North Texas, alleging he was a victim of "false allegations and coercion attempt." This article originally appeared on For The Win: The 11 best undrafted free agents after the 2025 NFL Draft.
