DALLAS — Excuse me, you look like you might want to see the next generation of country music acts clean up at the 2025 Academy of Country Music Awards , taking place at The Star in Frisco. Fans of the genre have long committed Ella Langley and Riley Green's throwback duet, “You Look Like You Love Me” to memory, and soon, they'll get to celebrate them and many others at the awards show. New stars like Langley as well as veteran acts like Cody Johnson, Morgan Wallen, Lainey Wilson, Chris Stapleton and many more will be celebrated.
The awards ceremony will take place May 8 at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco . Reba McEntire, a 16-time ACM winner, will once again host. It will be streamed on Prime Video and the Amazon Music channel on Twitch.
The monumental show will be expanded to two and a half hours and celebrate six decades of Country Music and feature performances by the genre’s most legendary and multi-award-winning stars, including: Alan Jackson Brooks & Dunn Chris Stapleton Clint Black Cody Johnson Kelsea Ballerini LeAnn Rimes Miranda Lambert Rascal Flatts Wynonna Judd Luke Combs Jelly Roll Morgan Wallen Lainey Wilson For a full list of nominees and performances, click here . The ACM Awards were established in 1966 and is the longest-running country music awards show. This year’s show will be produced by Dick Clark Productions (DCP).
The ACM Awards were first hosted in Texas when the 50th-anniversary show was held in 2015 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, as we previously reported , and returned to North Texas in 2023 when it was held at The Star in Frisco. AP News contributed to this report..
