There are a number of Wetherspoons pubs in the county, but which are the best? We looked at TripAdvisor reviews to bring you the definitive ranking of the best Wetherspoon's across Herts. Top of the list is The Moon Under Water in High Street, Watford, with a rating of 3.7 out of 316 reviews.
It makes sense the Watford pub is rated highly - as the J D Wetherspoon company itself is based in Watford. One five-star review said: "Great service, very good manager, very friendly staff - brilliant and up for a laugh. Will recommend.

One five-star reviewer praised the pub for its Guinness, saying: "A really friendly place with great staff. "There appears to be a competition amongst the team to produce the perfect pint of Guinness, so I tried one. "It was as good as any pint of the black stuff I’ve had in Dublin (and a lot cheaper).
I’ll definitely be going back!" In joint third place is the Waterend Barn in St Albans, which has a historic setting inside a listed barn off St Peter's Street. The pub received a rating of 3.4 out of 399 reviews.
A reviewer, who gave the pub five stars, said: "Nice environment in a great location, really enjoyed the food and staff seemed friendly, toilets were clean, was able to relax for the afternoon whilst waiting for a friend." "Totally blown away by the size and beautiful cut combined with perfect preparation at a fraction of the price elsewhere." The Three Magnets in Leys Avenue, Letchworth received a rating of 3.3 out of 212 reviews.
One reviewer praised the "friendly staff and great food", saying: "We had baked potatoes with roast vegetables and extra cheese. Very delicious, as can be seen by our empty plates. "The lady we were served by (possibly the landlady) was very friendly and other staff were also.

The pub has an aviation theme, in keeping with Hatfield's history as the home of de Havilland airfield. One five-star review said: "We stopped off here for breakfast and it was fantastic. "We both ordered full English breakfasts which was really tasty and well cooked.
