There are a number of Wetherspoons pubs in the county, but which are the best? We looked at TripAdvisor reviews to bring you the definitive ranking of the best Wetherspoon's across Herts. Top of the list is The Moon Under Water in High Street, Watford, with a rating of 3.7 out of 316 reviews.

It makes sense the Watford pub is rated highly - as the J D Wetherspoon company itself is based in Watford. One five-star review said: "Great service, very good manager, very friendly staff - brilliant and up for a laugh. Will recommend.

One five-star reviewer praised the pub for its Guinness, saying: "A really friendly place with great staff. "There appears to be a competition amongst the team to produce the perfect pint of Guinness, so I tried one. "It was as good as any pint of the black stuff I’ve had in Dublin (and a lot cheaper).
