Actors Sanjay Dutt, Sunny Singh, Palak Tiwari, Aasif Khan and Beyounick, writer-director Sidhaant Sachdev and producer Deepak Mukut attended the launch of the song 'Aya Re Baba' from their horror comedy The Bhootnii at a five-star hotel in Mumbai. Sanjay Dutt was in his element as he gave interesting replies to the questions asked by the media. However, at one point, he got emotional as he rued about the film industry.
Sanjay Dutt sighed, “It’s sad that our industry has been divided. I had never seen something like this before. We were a family and would continue to be one.
Abhi thoda bhatak gaye hai .” He explained, “Every film is important for this industry. All films should be given the chance by distributors and cinema owners.
They should treat all films equally. The Bhootnii ko itna zor nahin diya ja raha hai lekin mujhe pata hai ki yeh picture bahut aage niklegi .” He added, “Hence, I request the film industry to once again be a family.
Let’s help each other so that the industry grows. I am not talking about myself. I am talking about my community and industry.
I love my industry.” A journalist asked about not having regular releases. Sanjay Dutt raised laughs as he said, “If I don’t take such a long gap, aap log mujhe dekh-dekh ke bore ho jaaoge !” On a serious note, he said, “Bhole Baba has showered his blessings on all of us.
As Deepak Mukut said, the film was made thanks to Bholenath. Hopefully, I won’t take such a long gap from now on.” Sidhaant Sachdev, on the other hand, lauded his lead actor for doing stunts on his own, without the use of a stunt double, “Sir has jumped for real at a height of 40 feet.
I’ll upload its making. There’s no body double or stunt double. It’s just him supported by 2 ropes with a fire blast happening behind him.
None of it is fake; nor we have done face replacement. That’s how he has worked hard, and he has been an inspiration for us.” The Bhootnii releases in cinemas on May 1.
