Essex is known for its party atmosphere, as the county often holds different club nights, food festivals and live music events. The Street Eats 'n' Beats Festival in Chelmsford is a popular event for both families and adults, complete with street food, a huge line up of DJs and multiple pop up bars. Set to take place on September 6 in Central Park, Essex residents and locals are buzzing for the return of the festival.
Adult tickets are priced from £22 and kids' tickets will set you back from £8, and there is plenty to do with the entire family to make your money worthwhile. The festival is very popular with families, as there are plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained. At Street Eats 'n' Beats, there a DJ academy, MettleWorks’ Cultural Quarter with craft making, a giant doodle wall plus a silent disco - which are all child-friendly.
