Four pubs in Sussex have been named as some of the best in the country. The Daily Mail has compiled a list of the best seaside pint spots across the country's that you must visit. Introducing the list, it reads: "Here’s a list of my all-time favourites on the coast.

Sussex seaside pubs crowned among the best in the country Four pubs in Sussex made the list of the best seaside pubs in the country. These were The Albion in Hastings, The Tiger Inn in East Dean, The Crown and Anchor in Chichester and The Anchor Bleu in Bosham. The Albion was described as a place for a "cosy afternoon" with the Daily Mail writer saying: "I have rarely been so pleased to get inside a pub as I was then - a cosy afternoon ensued.

It adds: "The village is flint cottage perfection and the pub, said to date from the 12th century, is wonderfully cosy with local Harvey’s on tap." The Crown and Anchor in Chichester was described as a "very fine and often bustling 16th-century inn", set on a "spectacular natural harbour in Chichester". It adds that the sunsets in the area can be "spectacular".
The final pub on the list was The Anchor Bleu in Bosham .
