Thefts at Preet Nagar, Gangyal

Excelsior CorrespondentJAMMU, Apr 19: Thieves struck two more houses in Preet Nagar and Gangyal areas of the district today and decamped with gold worth lakhs and thousands of cash.While thieves stole around 5-6 tolas of the gold and Rs 40,000 in cash from a house in Preet Nagar area they ran away with 3-4 tolas of gold and Rs 25,000 cash from a house near Choudhary Palace area.After receiving written complaints from the victims, separate teams of Police Station Gangyal visited the crime scenes and collected necessary evidence with the help of forensic and dog squad teams.
