(KFOR) -- OU and OSU both had multiple players selected on Day 3 of the 2025 NFL Draft.The Sooners got the day started when the New Orleans Saints drafted LB Danny Stutsman in the 4th round with the 112th overall pick. Six picks later fellow defensive stalwart Billy Bowman went off the board, selected with the 118th overall pick by the Atlanta Falcons.
Nick Martin was the first Cowboy drafted on Day 2, in the 3rd round by the San Francisco 49ers. On Day 3 Martin was joined by Collin Oliver, Ollie Gordon, and Korie Black. Oliver went in the 5th round, 159th overall, to the Green Bay Packers.
Gordon was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the 6th round with the 179th overall pick. Black was selected in the 7th round with the 246th overall pick by the New York Giants.Oliver, the former Edmond Santa Fe star, spoke to News 4 after his selection by the Packers and admitted Green Bay surprised him a little bit after only speaking a couple of times during the pre-draft process but was excited to play for the prestigious franchise.
"They seemed to like me, and if they like me then I love them," said Oliver. The new Packers LB also had a message about himself to Green Bay fans, "[I'm] a hard worker, I'm not going to stop until I've done the most I can possibly do with myself, not only on the field but off the field. I'm going to continue to work until my wheels fall off, that's just all I know.
"Collin's parents, Marshall and Jewel Oliver, said it was both exciting and a relief to see their son finally get drafted. "I have never had a favorite NFL team before but I'm a cheesehead now," said Jewel. "I just thought of the years when he first got started playing football leading up to now and just to see his name called is an amazing feeling," added Marshall.
