Vows to support with advanced weaponsBy Jabiru HassanPresident Bola Ahmed Tinubu has directed Nigeria’s security agencies to intensify efforts and eradicate all forms of terrorism and banditry in Katsina State, along with their foreign collaborators.The President issued the firm directive during his two-day working visit to the state on Friday, where he reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering commitment to combating insurgency.Tinubu expressed deep concern over the persistent security threats in the region, stating that terrorism and banditry had been allowed to fester for far too long.



“It is time to reclaim every inch of our territories,” he said, stressing that the government would leave no stone unturned in restoring peace and order to the region.The President also assured the security forces of his administration’s full support, including the provision of advanced weaponry and improved welfare packages, to enable them to effectively carry out their operations.“We are ready to provide the necessary resources to ensure that our brave men and women in uniform have all they need to succeed in their fight against terrorism,” he stated.
