AUSTIN, Texas — After severe storms tore through Central Texas on Tuesday , the National Weather Service (NWS) has confirmed a tornado touched down in Milam County. The NWS confirmed that an EF-0 tornado touched down near Cameron, then moved east-northeast in between the communities of Maysfield and Branchville. The tornado's maximum wind speeds were clocked at 85 mph, which is the highest wind speed in the EF-0 classification.
The NWS also confirmed a pair of tornados that touched down just outside the KVUE area, with another EF-0 touching down just north of Milam County in Robertson County, and an EF-1 touching down in Leon County..
