josefkubes Toyota Motor Corp. ( NYSE: TM ) Chairman Akio Toyoda proposed a buyout of supplier Toyota Industries Corp. ( OTCPK:TYIDY ) ( OTCPK:TYIDF ) in a monster deal, sources told Bloomberg.
The proposal would value Toyota Industries at ¥6 trillion ($42 billion), which is a 40% premium over the closing.
