A towns’ charity shop has been damaged by trespassers following a break-in last night. The Station Street store, Sense, in Spalding announced it will be closed as a result of the incident earlier today (April 19) on social media. Volunteers are currently cleaning up the damage and have asked customers for their patience whilst they prepare to re-open the shop.

The Facebook post also said: “We have had stock kindly donated by yourselves stolen as well as damage to the shop itself. When we do re-open we would love to see you all as usual and we thank you all for your support.” The charity shop is hoping to be open this afternoon.
